Why doesn’t UBC offer a Doctoral Program in Ecological Economics ?
Ecological Economics is in my view (and I am far from alone) simply better economics, but, due it seems, to opposition from the dominant patterns of thought in the Vancouver School of Economics, ecological economics has never had anything but the most marginal of existences at UBC.
BA (Honours) (Economics) (University of Cape Town) (1977)
MBA (Accounting, Finance and Information Systems) (University of British Columbia) (1982)
Masters’s level course credit in ecological economics from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln.
